New Web Host

Saturday August 25, 2007
by Tim Guba

We have switched to a new Web Hosting service. While we have been with our previous Web host since the Company was started and maintained a great relationship with them, we felt that the services offered didn't keep up with the offerings from other hosting providers. Since the Company is growing by leaps and bounds, the need to switch to a new Web host that could keep up with our growing needs more effectively.

Moving forward with the new hosting service will allow us to maintain the current rate of growth that we are experienceing and enble us to increase that rate of growth as we move further along our planned expansion and diversified product lines.

There is planned, somewhat further out along the timeline, another large infrastructure improvement project that will incorporate a database-driven Web site, interactive user pages, customizable viewing environments, and much more. Eventually, we may even start integrating some of our artificial intelligence software into the Web site. Initially it will be for management and control aspects, however, if the testing results indicate a good level of extensibility in the existing environment, then we may begin integrating, and even designing from the ground up, an completely self-sustaining artificially intelligent Web site.

At that time, we may decide to bring all of our hosting in-house for security and efficiency purposes. That will be one monumental effort.

New Website Design

Monday October 01, 2007
by Tim Guba

A long overdue site design has been implemented and is currently active. The new look of the website more closely follows along the lines of the Web 2.0 concept than did the old design.

The new look is brighter, lighter, and more streamlined. We are trying to create an environment that is more conducive to absorbing and comprehending the information that we deliver.

The philosophy for our Web sites is to create and maintain an enjoyable visitor experience - one in which the visitor will not have to be encumbered by the site navigation. Moving around the site should have an intuitive feel and be almost second nature.

We have spent many man-hours developing the new site. Many hours of research and testing have gone into the project and the results should be quite satisfying to everyone who visits. We certainly hope everyone enjoys the new look and feel of our completely redesigned Web site.
